WINQUOTE32 INSTALLATION GUIDE

FOR WINDOWS

Getting Started :
HOW TO INSTALL WINQUOTE32 FOR WINDOWS

1. Start the installation :

1.1 Power on your PC and Start Windows.

1.2 Download WINQUTOE32 setup program from this web site.

1.3 Click START , select RUN , type X:\WQSETUP (Where X is the source Drive) and Click OK .

1.4 The Screen will now show up the WELCOME SCREEN and click NEXT to continue .

1.5 The Screen will now show up the CONTACT SCREEN and click NEXT to continue .

1.5 Select the language of the setup program and click NEXT to continue .

1.6 Select the Region. For a quick installation, select the pre-define region, or select the

      Others/Custom for a full selection setup. If select the pre-define region, please jump to step 4.

1.7 Choose Destination Location The Default installation directory is C:\Winq32 .

      If you do not wish to install the software in the default directory ,

      Click on BROWSE to specify an alternative location and click OK to continue .

      Click NEXT to confirm the changes .

1.8 Select the type of setup that you prefer to install , then click NEXT to continue .

The type of setup is divided into 4 parts :

(A) Page Update ---- Only update the fullpage and the setup finish.

(B) Program Update ---- Only update the winquote32 program and the setup finish.

(C) Custom ---- User define. (go to step 2 select Components).

(D) Uninstall Winquote32/Setting ---- process the Uninstall program.

2. Select Components:

Select the appropriate service file (Please only tick that you have joined) , then click NEXT to continue .

The service file is divided into 9 types :

    1. Page HKS ----- Hong Kong Stock Exchange .

    2. Page Race ----- Hong Kong Horse Racing .

    3. Page LME ----- London Metal Exchange .

    4. Page KL ----- Kuala Lumpur Stock and Commodity Fullpages .

    5. Page SN ----- Singapore Stock and Commodity Fullpages .

    6. Page Future ----- Future Commodity Fullpages .

    7. Forex Pages ----- This is a Pre-defined items page with Forex .

3 Select Configuration File :

    (A) DialUp Configuration ----- install with dial-up setting.

    (B) Internet Configuration ----- install with Internet setting.

4. Enter Password in the box – the Password is provided By Telequote .

    If you are not sure the Password , please leave it blank and click Next to continue .

5 Select Program Folder where to install (Default is Telequote Winquote32bit) . Click NEXT

    when selection is made .

    The installation program will now start to installation . Click OK,FINISH to complete the installation .

SETUP THE LOGIN INFORMATION :

1 Start Winquote32 in our Telequote Winquote32bit Program Folder.

2 Select View , Property in main menu .

4 Select Network Setting.

5 Choose the suitable COM(Comport ), Speed (set to 38400) , Password .

*Password = A/C No. (4 or 5 numeric codes) + (4 or 5 Alpha Codes))

The password is provided by Telequote)

                                        # No need to key-in D or L for the password .

(Dialup Users only)

6 In Initialize , you could change the modem initialize string IF NECESSARY .

   If your modem is provided by our company , the string should be : AT&F&C1&D3H0 .

   If not , please try to key-in any one of the followings : ATZ or AT&F1 or AT&F2 .

   Press ESC to exit

SET UP THE DIALING SETTINGS OR INTERNET SETTINGS :

Select View and then Property in the menu bar and select Network Setting , Connection to change the phone number

For Internet :

(1) In Type , select Internet Connection.

(2) Input Our Internet address :

    If accessed in Mainland China , Macau . Please key-in 1. Ra.hk.tq.net in Connection.

    If accessed in Overseas , please key – in 1. Rb.hk.tq.net in Connection.

(3) With FireWall and Proxy Server:

After step (1) and step (2), select Proxy Setting in Property dialog box. Select Use Proxy. Input

Proxy Address.
